Mental Records is proud to announce inking a deal with Killing Bees . The Bees’ faces might look familiar but the sound is surprisingly refreshing. Ray Mehlbaum and Nic Nifoussi comprise this duo that previously were the rhythm section of the once heralded punk band Automatic 7.

They’ve now moved on to create a machine that consists of a two-piece bass and drum manifesto that sounds like someone sticking frozen body parts through a wood chipper. Killing Bees decided to stay at home with Mental Records and we are excited to release this aggressive masterpiece in early Spring of ’09.  Until that time, fans can watch the innovative video for the first single “Mediocrity.”
