“Heartache & Revolution” Breaks Out on iTunes

hollowbodys_album.jpg The debut release of The Hollowbodys “Heartache & Revolution” went live on the iTunes Music Store this past week and is already generating some great feedback. This is an exclusive digital download release in advance of the physical CD release slated for early 2009.

Fans of The Southern Oregon hard driving punk outfit have been hungry for this release and Mental Records is pleased to have The Hollowbodys on board the label and to bring this title to a wider audience. The band is currently taking a break from their rigorous schedule of live shows and are finalizing the songs for their follow up CD and will be heading into 60 Psycho Hum Studios with producer Doug Hill later this Fall.

The Hollowbodys also just released two brand new tracks, “Can’t Stop Drinking” and I Sold My Soul To Rock & Roll” on the Crass Roots North West Vol. 1 . -a unique compilation of distinct American roots music blending traditional folk music and contemporary punk, rock and blues generated in and around the Cascade region of the great American west.
