Community Spotlight

Welcome to our Community Spotlight page. Each month we'll be featuring a special member of our growing Mental Records Community. We'll be giving shout outs and special recognition for those folks who have a particular connection to Mental Records, our artists, our music and what we do and what we believe in.

Our featured community spotlight member for July is Tobey Mullen. Tobey Mullen, from Mental Record's hometown of Medford, Oregon took a stand for Liberty this past Independence Day by posting the latest graphic in our T4 "Join the Revolution" Poster Contest at the base of the Statue of Liberty in Medford's central Alba Park! Excellent choice! Tobey is a regular mainstay in the Southern Oregon punk scene and has been a long time local supporter of Mental Records and our bands. Tobey has been a huge fan of The Circle Jerks and Bad Religion since way back in the day. He says, "The T4 Project is such an amazing concept and the music and lyrics really get my blood boiling when it comes to taking a stand against social tyranny and oppression." Well, we certainly wouldn't argue with you on that front, brother. And considering your demeanor and rugged good looks we doubt anyone else would either.

Tobey should serve as an inspiration to all you new members of the T4 Revolution Fancorps Brigade as well as those members who have yet to take up the T4 Revolution torch in earnest. This was the first order Tobey accepted and fulfilled and it effectively moved him from "Trainee" status all the way up to "Corporal" in the Roll Call, putting him into the #4 top spot, and well within striking distance of our current activity point leader (sidewalksoul). Remember, the T4 Revolutionary with the highest activity point score amassed by the beginning of November, 2008 will win a 16 gigabyte iPod Touch courtesy of The T4 Project and Mental Records.

We certainly appreciate your efforts in supporting the mission of The T4 Project. It's people like you who really make the T4 Project a true revolution!
