Community Spotlight

Welcome to our Community Spotlight page. Each month we'll be featuring a special member of our growing Mental Records Community. We'll be giving shout outs and special recognition for those folks who have a particular connection to Mental Records, our artists, our music and what we do and what we believe in.

Our featured community spotlight member for June is Lee Weston (galaxy42) of Mankota, MN. Lee recently jumped in the rankings of our T4 Project "Join The Revolution" Street Team by being the first winner in the T4 "Join the Revolution" Poster Contest. Here's what Lee had to say about himself, The T4 Project and Mental Records.....

"I'm really into the whole "revolution" idea. Not only with The T4 Project but with the entire outlook from Mental Records. It's high time we all started taking real action for causing positive change in our world. And what better way to step up than through music."

"The T4 Project has got this really important and vital message that is spot on, emphasizing that globally - we need this viral change. Anyway, I figured I'd stick it to the man and throw down some posters in this viral media effort! I was really stoked when Shannon called me personally saying 'Congrats, you're the coolest, dude". I couldn't believe that Shannon Saint Ryan, creator and producer, the guy who brought this whole thing together would take time to thank me directy. How cool was that? That guy's a real character. He's got some amazingly cool ideas."

"So, about myself -  I'm just doing my thing.  Living the good life.  I've got a brand new family. So I'm thinking to myself, 'how can I make this a better place for my daughter?' and stepping up in a peaceful way for change seems like the answer.  I generally go with the flow, and am drawn to whatever rocks my soul."

"I'll definately be spreading the revolution more out there and I can't wait to see The T4 Project play live. Keep it up Mental Records. You guys rock!"
