Community Spotlight

Welcome to our Community Spotlight page. Each month we'll be featuring a special member of our growing Mental Records Community. We'll be giving shout outs and special recognition for those folks who have a particular connection to Mental Records, our artists, our music and what we do and what we believe in.

Our featured spotlight community member for April is Lauren Jimenez (sidewalksoul). Lauren is the #1 T4 Project Revolutionary on our official Fancorps website.   Lauren originally got into the T4 Project because she absolutely loves Strung Out and heard that Jason Cruz was a part of the Project... "So I figured it had to be awesome,"she says. "Definitely an understatement! With the hard-hitting lyrics, the hilarious (but true) pseudo commercial interludes, and everyone uniting their talents for such a great cause, I was totally blown away by the album and it's been in heavy rotation in my car ever since I bought the original limited pre-release online."
 
"I feel very connected to all of the issues going on in our country and it really aches my heart to see so many standing around doing nothing about any of it. Be it our ignored homeless population or the media's disgusting hand of persuasion of the American zombies that devour it all and take it for truth, we have so much that we can do and contribute to make a change. I think The T4 Project is heading in the right direction with their messages and efforts and that we should take up the torch and continue the cause."
